But first – Coffee!

I’d love to chat over a cup of coffee – it’s where the best ideas start. I’d love to grab a (virtual or in person) cup of coffee, get to know you and your needs, and share more about me. Here’s a bit about me to start:

My professional journey spans over 15 years across nearly every corner of the multifamily industry. I started on the owner/operator side before moving into the supplier space, which gave me a unique, well-rounded perspective I still draw from today.

Jennifer Carter is a marketing strategist, media operator, and industry storyteller who has spent more than 15 years in the multifamily housing space, not just building brands, but helping shape how the industry communicates, connects, and evolves.

Her career has never followed a traditional path. Jennifer built her expertise on the front lines—working alongside onsite teams, operators, and leadership to understand what actually drives performance. That hands on experience became the foundation for her approach today: bridging the gap between strategy and execution, and turning insight into impact.

As a driving force behind the growth of Multifamily Media Network (MMN), Jennifer helped transform what started as a collection of conversations into a true media ecosystem. One that amplifies the voices of operators, innovators, and leaders across the country and challenges the industry to think differently about marketing, technology, and the resident experience.

But Jennifer’s work isn’t only rooted in business it’s deeply personal.

As a mother of a neurodivergent son, she has developed a passion for advancing neurodiversity awareness in the workplace and within the multifamily industry. What began as a personal journey quickly became a professional mission: to move beyond surface-level awareness and into real, practical change.

She believes the future of work and community depends on our ability to design environments where different ways of thinking are not just accommodated, but valued.

Through speaking, content, and community-driven initiatives, Jennifer is helping shift the conversation from inclusion as a concept to inclusion as a daily practice.

At her core, Jennifer brings a perspective that is both strategic and deeply human—challenging the industry to not only perform better, but to show up better.
